About

I hold an MA in Fine Arts from Utrecht University of the Arts (Netherlands), and an MPhil in Screen Cultures from the University of Oslo (Norway).

My practice uses photography as a creative medium to explore themes tied to the human condition, focusing on belonging, identity formation, and the interplay between memory and space. Through visual narratives, I examine how personal and collective histories shape perceptions of place and self. The theoretical approach of my practice is rooted in psychoanalytical perspectives of subjectivity and becoming, while my methodology is centered on new documentary photography and visual storytelling.

Based in Oslo, Norway, I work as a visual artist, photo instructor, and curator. In my projects I often bridge artistic research and socially engaged practices, highlighting photography’s capacity to connect personal experience with broader cultural and political contexts.
